This self-paced course is designed to introduce learners to modes of indigeneity and indigenous ways of knowing. Learners explore indigenous histories and contemporary issues from across Canada through indigenous perspectives. Learners gain greater awareness of past and present relationships between Indigenous and settler societies.
This course is divided into 12 sections and takes an average of 20 hours to complete.

Land Back Course
This course introduces learners to contemporary and historical processes of land disposition in Canada. Learners gain wider awareness of resistance though enforcement of Indigenous models of consent and relationship to natural resources. Within this course learners are also invited to consider the future of the Land Back movement, and how this movement fits into the wider context of climate change activist and non-indigenous allyship.
