Learners explore indigenous histories and contemporary issues from across Canada through indigenous perspectives. Learners gain greater awareness of past and present relationships between Indigenous and settler societies.

Learners gain wider awareness of resistance though enforcement of Indigenous models of consent and relationship to natural resources. Within this course learners are also invited to consider the future of the Land Back movement, and how this movement fits into the wider context of climate change activist and non-indigenous allyship.
